Common questions from schools

Who can enter?: Primary schools across the South of England. Any year group or mix of year groups can take part — a class, a choir or the whole school.
What does it cost?: Nothing. Entry is free, and the full £10,000 prize fund goes straight to the winning schools’ funds.
Which song can we sing?: Any Christmas song, any arrangement. Film in landscape on any phone or camera — the performance matters, not the production values.
When are the deadlines?: Video submissions close at 5pm on Friday 27 November 2026, and public voting runs until 18 December 2026.
How does voting work?: Anyone can vote for their favourite school; every vote is confirmed by a one-click verification email. We never collect any pupil data.
What happens after we register?: You get your upload link and a teacher pack by email straight away. Our team reviews every video and approves entries within 48 hours.
