At Brackenwood, we believe in supporting local talent and investing in the next generation. We are proud to sponsor Tom Crawley, a young racing driver from Basingstoke.

About Tom

Tom began karting in 2024 after a Christmas gift session quickly revealed natural ability. Within two months, he reached the highest level in the TeamSport Race Series, and his progression since has been rapid.

Achievements so far

2nd overall in the FAT Karting Regional Championship
Most race wins across the season, with top-3 qualifying at every round
National Semi Finals of the British Indoor Karting Championship, top drivers from over 5,000 entrants
13 races, 13 podium finishes: 7 wins, 3 second places, 3 third places

Tom has now stepped up into Junior karting, winning his first Grid Series race of the season with pole position and fastest lap.

Brackenwood in the Community

The first weekend of October saw thousands of runners and supporters descend on the town for the notoriously tough and hilly half-marathon. It’s an incredible event that brings the community together year after year, and Brackenwood is proud to play a small part in helping put Basingstoke on the map.

Our team was out in force at the halfway point to cheer on participants as they tackled the climb, offering encouragement (and plenty of water) to help keep everyone going as they powered over the hill.
